I am delighted to advise that Adrian Skelly has signed to Baljaffray on 12 September and he is now eligible to play in the Scottish Cup tie this coming Saturday.
Lets make sure that Adrian is given a warm Baljaffray welcome and I am sure he will be an excellent addition to the squad.
Fraser Hemming is our new team captain and Lauchlan Mitchell is our vice captain for season 2011/12.
Both Fraser and Lauchlan read the game well and will be our main leaders on the pitch. That is not to say that others need not lead by example or shirk responsibilities around communication. Lets all become more vocal this season and suport each other as it will only help the team.
Wear silver kit for training sessions on 6th and 13th August. Please advise Brian if you will be unable to make these sessions due to holiday commitments or any other reason.
Baljaffray FC 1997's will be holding trials during August on selected Saturday mornings. Please keep a look out on the News pages and ticker tape across the top of the page
3-0 down against England midway through the second half in the St Patrick's International Tournament in Dublin, Scott was called up from the bench to play the last 15 minutes of the game as England were starting to dominate.
It was a very proud moment for his dad to watch and even more so when the match finished 3-0 and he earned a "clean sheet" in his first game for the Scotland national senior Cerebral Palsy team.
The photo of Scott is Scotland defending another English attack.
Well done Scott and there are sure (to be sure) to be many more caps to follow.
