3-0 down against England midway through the second half in the St Patrick's International Tournament in Dublin, Scott was called up from the bench to play the last 15 minutes of the game as England were starting to dominate.
It was a very proud moment for his dad to watch and even more so when the match finished 3-0 and he earned a "clean sheet" in his first game for the Scotland national senior Cerebral Palsy team.

Well done Scott and there are sure (to be sure) to be many more caps to follow.
Following the Blantyre game when I only had 12 players at the game and three got injured I decided to sign Dru and Lucas. They were signed on merit as I feel that they can improve the starting 11.
What that means is that at least two boys have to miss out each week therefore the squad will be picked on merit based primarily on attitude at training and games. Please also remember that if anyone misses training or a game without my prior knowledge then that person will be automatically excluded from the squad for the next game.
Another important point is that senior football club scouts can turn up at games unannounced as they try to unearth the next Rooney. Personally I don't think any of the boys are that ugly, however I need to give my best players most game time even in the games against weaker teams to give them every opportunity to be "spotted". We have had Adam at Rangers and Dundee United, Ross was commented on by a Dundee United Scout at a game in Oban last season, Antony was given a mention by the Dumbarton scout at a Bearsden Academy match and on Saturday I had a request for details on Cammy and Ross from a Falkirk scout. They both also attended Regional Squad trials at Ravenscraig within the last few weeks following my nomination for them.
So the message to everyone is continue to work hard and listen to Alan, Ian, Peter and me during training so that you continue to learn and develop.
Lucas Sweeney has joined us from Broomhill Sports Club and gives us striking options up front. It was good that he scored on his debut on Saturday. Lucas brings our Bearsden Academy team compliment to seven with Ross, George, Adam, Angus, Antony and Cammy also playing for the school team.
Dru Nicholson has also signed having "trained" with the team since November albeit not too many sessions since then. It was also good to see Dru also get on the scoresheet on his second appearance, with his late goal on Saturday.
A BIG Baljaffray welcome to both boys.
As my intention is to sign Dru Nicholson and Lucas Sweeney in the coming days that means that with 18 signed players we will have a squad that is too big to have everyone in the 16 strong match day squad. That means that two boys will sit out of the Saturday game and this, in time, will be done on ability and attitude at training and match days.
If anyone misses training without prior notice to myself then they will automatically be dropped from the matchday squad.
In the mean time Scott and Dru will sit out on 5 February and Scott and Adam will sit out 12 February thereafter it will be my decision based on discussions with my coaches at each training session.
