Scott has represented his country at the Cerebral Palsy Home Nations in Lilleshall in 2009 and Dublin in 2010 having got his first cap v Republic of Ireland in a friendly at Largs on 20 October 2007. Having made the B squad goalkeeping position his own in the last two years he will be pushing hard on the door of the Scotland A squad in 2011 having made the bench on his 14th birthday. Scott made the Scotland squad of 12 for the World Championships in Holland in June 2011 and made his World Cup debut at the tender age of 15 when he came on as a sub at half time against Finland in the group games and kept a clean sheet.
