The season panned out pretty much as expected with a mid table finish (bottom of top half of table). We had a squad of 16 to start the season and this was increased to 18 after only 11 fit players made themselves available for a Regional Cup 4th round tie on a cold January Sunday morning in Blantyre. We subsequently finished with 9 fit players in a match we should have won if all squad players were available. We were unlucky to go out 3-2 away to Seafar Villa in the 1st round of the Scottish Cup having totally dominated the first half however a very poor showing in the 1st round of the DFDL Cup ended in a disappointing 3-2 defeat having lost a shocking goal after having just equalised in the last minute of the game.

Some players left during the season and also at the end which left us with only 10 players to complete our final fixture of the season with Brian having to go in goals with the blessing of the Ardencaple coach and referee.

Angus Moffat, Robbie Nichol, Martin McGhee, Ross Boyd, Craig Jardine and Antony Cohn left the club with Lewis McConnell, Fraser Hemmings, Rory Campbell and Greg Fitzsimmons joining at the end of the season.
